In early 2021, Fugees marked the 25th anniversary of their globally acclaimed album The Score. They also appeared as the unannounced opening act for Black Entertainment Television’s Music Awards in 2005 with their first new material in a decade – the song Take It Easy. They did reunite, however, in 1998 to shoot a video for the Sesame Street song Just Happy To Be Me and again in 2004 to perform at a Brooklyn concert featured in the documentary Dave Chappelle’s Block Party.
